What is the meaning of law?? and do law & ethics related to each other??

If you have read my previous post,I already mention about the meaning of ethics.So now I will share with you about the meaning of law and the related between law and ethics...

-Law is the determined by the individual's moral,political,religious and ethical views and influenced by the society in which he or she lives.so law can be defined as a set of rules developed over a long period of time to regulate interactions between people.It sets standards of conduct between one group of individuals and another as well as between individuals and the government which are enforceable through sanction.

-Although law is important as source of rules and conduct,society,would still be unable to function effectively unless its individuals possess some form of moral standards and beliefs-which may be termed as ethical considerations.Ethics guides individuals in ascertaining the soundness of rules and their impact upon relationships.
-Law and ethics are often related,particularly in the area of business law.
-Business adopt codes of ethics or conduct to guide employers and employees when considering ethical issues during the decisions making process.
-The following are some of the legal rules relevant to business law which have ethical considerations:

• The assumptions that all parties will exercise good faith (bona fidei) when entering into a contract.
• Web issues such as privacy and cyber squatting.
• consumer protection.
• Intellectual property considerations.  

Law & Ethics of Human Rights ( LEHR) aspires to analyze and clarify the concepts of moral and legal rights, and to contribute to conflict resolution in human rights law. Each issue of LEHR focuses on one contemporary dilemma that raises major moral and legal questions. Each such dilemma is examined using an interdisciplinary approach to human rights law, an approach which strives to create associations between legal provisions and the philosophical thinking underlying them. Moreover, it is our hope that publishing the work of distinguished scholars from various countries will mitigate the problem of culturally insensitive application of human rights norms.

 What are the differences between law & ethics??

Most of the time laws are written, approved, and then enforced by the level of government where they were written. For example, a State law is enforced by the state. A Federal law is enforced by the Feds. 
In other words; State Laws and Government Laws go through a process to get approved, written into law, and then are enforced. 
Ethics are like rules of conduct. For example, Doctors have unwritten ethical rules or practices that they adhere to just because it's the right thing to do. They have the responsibility to take care of you to the best of their ability. It's ethically correct for a Doctor to do his best to help you with your medical malady, but it's not a law that he has to. 
If a Doctor is unable to help you with your problem he has an ethical responsibility to refer you to a specialist, but there is not a law saying that he has to do that. 
Most occupations have ethics that come along with the job. They are not written done, they are unspoken rules of conduct that people adhere to. 
For example an electrician has an ethical responsibility to repair your house wiring correctly so that it works correctly and is not a safety hazard for you.

A key difference is in terms of the sanctions which apply if these are violated.If you break an ethical code you may face disapproval from your peers,disciplinary proceedings from a professional body etc.Break the law and you could face a police investigation,a court appearance,various penalties like a fine or imprisonment etc.It might mean the difference between losing your job or your liberty.

= A business is an organization involved in the trade of good,services or both to consumer,is also known an economic activity , a transaction where an offer is made by a seller and the offer is accepted by a buyer for a consideration with the hidden agenda of a gain or profit. 

Ethics

= Ethics is also known as moral philosophy that involves systematizing,defending and recommending concepts of right and wrong conduct. ethics is a theory, system or set of moral principles or values and ethics is beyond law.

Business Ethics

= Is the study of business situations, activities and decision where issues or right and wrong are addressed. Business ethics also examines ethical principles and moral or ethical problems that arise in a business environment.
